Davey Pump Pressure Booster 20 GPM 30 PSI boost 1 HP 115 Volt model # BT20-30 with Torrium controller and built-in pressure tank. Ideal for average to large two story homes or long runs of plumbing. Five water outlets can be operated at the same time without substantially reducing performance, assuming an average delivery of 3 GPM at 30 PSI and a 15 ft. suction lift.

Replaces Davey HS18-30HTI
Note: This model is not yet Massachusetts Code or CSA approved.


The Davey BT Series does not require an additional
pressure tank under normal operating conditions.

Specifications:

  • Operation: The Torrium control starts the pump as soon as you switch on the tap and continues running until water is not required. The controller continuously monitors the flow of water and will switch it off to avoid damage if the supply becomes inadequate. The systems are compact, quiet and easy to install.

    External Pressure Tank Requirement: For Davey BT Booster SystemspadIf an external bottled water dispenser is installed in-line to your refrigerator, such a device can cause water-line restriction to the extent that it causes the Davey Pump System unit to over-cycle. In this condition, the Torrium control attempts to overcome the short run times by dropping temporarily the cut-in pressure to 50% of the last shut-off head (instead of 80%) Torrium will return to 80% cut-in pressure after 100 cycles or if a manual reset is initiated.

    In this situation, reduce excessive cycling of the Davey unit by installing an external accumulator tank within 24" inches of the pumps discharge port, after the flexible connector.. King Pumps Pro-Source 2 Gallon Pre-charged Metal Tank # PS2-SO1 . (Equivalent in drawdown to a 6 gallon galvanized atmospheric tank).
