Electric Anti-Siphon Valve
Anti-siphon valves are used for city water because of it's built in backflow preventor required by many city codes. This system presents a convenient way to control your sprinklers through the use of a timer, which turns the valves on and off automatically. Most electric anti-siphon valves come with a bleed control on top to allow for manual operation (on/off) if needed. Anti-siphon valves should be installed at least 6" above the highest sprinkler head to prevent backflow into the water supply.
