The pumps are equipped with an electric cord having a grounding conductor and a 3 pronged grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into a matching outlet, properly installed and grounded, in accordance with all local codes and ordinances and National Electrical Cod (NEC) Do not modify the plug provided. If it will not fir the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified licensed electrician (a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter is recommended) . Do not remove the ground prong from the plug. |
