To reduce the risk of injury
- Do not permit children to use this product.
- Do not drain the pool cover if there are people in the pool.
- Do not cut cord. This pump is provided with a 3-prong grounding plug for use with a 110 volt AC 3-prong outlet.
- Do not connect to an ungrounded outlet.
- Connect only to a grounding type receptacle protected by a ground-fault-circuit interrupter (GFCI).
- Contact a qualified electrician if you cannot verify that the receptacle is protected by a GFCI.
- Do not bury the cord.
- Locate cord to minimize abuse from lawn mower, hedge trimmers and other equipment.
- Replace the pump immediately if the cord is damaged.
- Do not use extension cord to connect unit to electric supply; provide a properly located outlet.
- Do not plug the pump into an outlet while standing in water or on a damp surface.
- Never pick up or support the pump by the power cord.
- This pump is designed for use with fresh and salt water only.
- Use of pump with any medium, including particularly hazardous, caustic or corrosive substances, could result in damage to the pump, the surrounding environment and injury to person or property including possible exposure to hazardous substances.
- Pump is for water applications only.
