1) Obtain static pressure and record information. 2) Obtain water flow information and record. 3) Draw plot plan accurately of property on graph paper. 4) Indicate location of water sources to be used on graph paper. 5) Select type of sprinklers to be used based on spray patterns and GPM use. 6) Locate sprinklers on graph paper, marking overlapping sprays with compass. 7) Establish zones with number and type heads on each zone. 8) Select type and size of pipe.
