We sell only the # 6 leather cup and the # 10 flat leather for the base
Replacing The Leather Cup
- Loosen the capscrew on the pump cap # 2
- Lift the plunger assembly out of the pump.
- Unscrew the cup leather holder # 7.
- Remove old cup leather # 6 and put on
new cup leather.
- Screw leather cup holder # 7 back into original
position.
- Reinstall plunger assembly and cap # 1
through #7 .
- Insert capscrew and tighten.
Replacing the Leather Valve
- Remove one of the capscrews located at the base
of the plunger body and loosen the other capscrew.
- Remove the pump body # 8 from the pump base # 11
- Remove the check valve # 9 from the
valve leather # 10
- Remove old valve leather 10. Clean any old leather
off of column and base.
- Position the raised end of check valve at the
attached/hinged end of valve leather.
- Reattach check valve # 9 to the valve leather # 10 with
the screw, nut and washer.
- Position new valve leather # 10 with check valve # 9 on
base.
- Reattach pump body # 8 to the base # 11 by reinstalling
and tightening the capscrews, washers, and nuts.
