Franklin Electric Motor 4", 3 wire, single phase, 60 Hz , water cooled, submersible water well motors with 48" Leads and control boxes. Single phase three-wire submersible motors require the use of control boxes. Operation of motors without control boxes or with incorrect boxes can result in motor failure and voids warranty. Control boxes contain starting capacitors and a starting relay.

NOTICE The current 1-1/2 HP standard 2823008610 control box is designed for use with Franklin Electric 1.5 hp motors manufactured beginning August 1, 2006 (date code 06H and newer). This control box does NOT contain an overload. If used with a 1.5 hp motor produced prior to date code 06H, Overload/ Capacitor kit 305388901 is required or you can purchase control # 2823008110 with the overload included

The control box and motor are two pieces of one assembly.
We will not accept orders for 3-wire Franklin Motors unless the matching Franklin control box is also ordered.
