Brady Plastic Spring Loaded Foot / Check Valve 3/4" to 1-1/2"

Brady Check Valves prevent backflow and loss of prime in water well, irrigation, and sprinkler systems. Made from Acetal resin plastic, they are lead free, non-corrosive, non-conductive, and will outlast and outperform many metal valves. To use the valve as an inline check vlave simply do not install the included strainer.

Brady check valves and foot valves have a unique patented design which allows for greater flow characteristics than in competitive valves. They may be installed in any position, and are sprin loaded for positive sealing. Made of acetal polymer, they are nonconductive, noncorrosive and will outperform and outlast most metal valves on the market. Not to be used in gasoline systems or to exceed working pressures of 175 PSI.

Use minimum amount of pipe joint compound and make sure that the arrow on the valve points to the direction of flow.
