Questions & Answers
- Have you had any problems with the AquaCharge pump?
- The only problem we have had with these pumps is that if the battery discharges to below 6.5 amps the charger light will not turn on. (the battery might discharge while sitting in stock at the factory or our warehouse) Even if the charger light is not on, if the pump is set on the charger the light will turn on when the charge reaches 6.5 amps. Because of this, some customers thought that the battery was fully charged when it actually wasn't. New pumps and batteries that have discharged to below 6.5 amps should be charged overnight (manual says 12 hours for initial charge)
- Is this pump suitable for drinking water?
- No it is not. It is suitable for pumping non-potable water only.
- Can this pump pump gasoline, diesel or flammable liquids?
- No it cannot. Do not pump gasoline, diesel or flammable liquids.
- Is this pump resistant to corrosive liquids?
- No it is not. This pump is designed for use with fresh and sea water only.
- Why doesn't the charger light go on when I try to charge the battery?
- If the battery discharges to below 6.5 amps the charger light will not turn on.
- Is the battery charging even if the charger light is not on?
- Yes.....when operating as designed, the charger light will turn on after about 30 minutes when the charge reaches 6.5 amps.
