Little Giant non-submersible self-priming rubber impeller Proven Pony Pump for portable, temporary applications only. Designed for intermittent use only, with 15 min. "on" and 45 min. "off". Model 360 (555502) is not intended for permanent installations or long, extended periods of continuous use. Replaces Little Giant # PP-1(555100). Only for water transfer. Can be used to empty water beds, drain water heaters or aquariums, pump out a basement, transfer water to an RV, pump boat bilges, pump out stock tanks, as a rain barrel pump and in just about any other application where water needs to be transferred. Rainwater Pump Application
Little Giant Self Priming Transfer Pump 360 GPH 115V # 360, (555502) has a carrying handle that slides over the edge of a rain barrel and holds the pump on the side. The pump weighs less than 5 pounds and is very easy to move between different rain barrels. The pump itself doesn't go inside the rain barrel. It uses an intake hose (not included) to draw water from the rain barrel. Do not run the pump dry. Dry pumping for as short as 30 seconds will damage the impeller. To prevent electric shock, do not submerge the motor. Connect the 3-prong, grounded electric cord to a GFCI outlet. This pump does not include garden hoses. You will need to get two 3-6 foot lengths of gardening hoses at a local hardware store.Resources
