Flojet Duplex ll, Self Priming Diaphragm Demand Water Pump, designed for a wide range of applications and constructed from a selection of materials suitable for handling a broad range of products.

Suitability for the application should be determined by actual use and is the full responsibility of the buyer. No warranty, expressed or implied, can be extended by the equipment manufacturer where failure is caused by chemical attack on pump materials. Temperature, aeration, concentration, and other factors may change the effect of the specific fluid on the pump materials. Only pumps with Santoprene / EPDM elastomers are recommended for potable water. Units are NOT designed for permanent residential domestic water applications.

Do not assume chemical compatibility.
If the fluid is improperly matched to the pumps Elastomers,
the pump may fail to prime, leak, have low pressures
or the pressure switch may not shut off.

Specifications

Applications: Automatic water systems, car wash, diesel fuel transfer, liquid transfer, road roller pumps, spraying, street sweeper pumps, cooling, circulation, filtration and dispensing. Operation: These self priming double diaphragm pumps have a built-in pressure switch that will automatically start and stop the pump instantaneously when a discharge valve is opened and closed. Questions & Answers

The Flojet manual states Intermittent duty. Can be run continuously for short periods of time. The higher the duty cycle the shorter the expected life of the pump.
Can be run continuously for short periods of time. The higher the duty cycle the shorter the expected life of the pump.
Up 60 minutes with discharge pressure of up to 20 PSI. Up to 20 minutes when the discharge pressure is over 20 PSI. The off-time should be the same or more than the run time.
Demand Operation is considered an "intermittent duty" application.
The maximum intermittent duty cycle is that which will cause the motor to reach its maximum thermal limits. Once the maximum thermal limit is reached, the motor must be allowed to settle to a lower temperature ideally being ambient before resuming operation. Running the pump at or near the maximum thermal limit for extended period of time will shorten the life of the pump and may result in immediate pump failure.
Only pumps with Santoprene / EPDM elastomers are recommended for potable water.
Units are NOT designed for permanent residential domestic water applications.
