Questions & Answers
- What is a single-acting pitcher pump?
- In a single-acting pitcher pump the water is "lifted" and "bubbles" out of the discharge spout on the up stroke. The down stroke is used only to re-set the piston.
- What is a double acting pitcher pump?
- In a double-acting pitcher pump the water is "lifted" on the up stroke and is discharged under pressure on the down stroke. A double-acting pitcher pump requires more force than a single-acting unit.
