Can you guarantee I'll get my order in time? This is an emergency!

  • It is impossible for us to guarantee that you will get the order on time. UPS, overall, does a fine job but sometimes shipments are delayed,lost or damaged in transit (they are human). When this happens, even when it's not our fault, we suffer in the eyes of our customers.
  • If the products that you order are in stock (and your shipping information and credit card goes through), then we promise to ship your products the next business day after the order is received.


How do I view the shipping charges before placing the order?

    To view the shipping charges before placing the order, do the following:
  1. Add item to cart
  2. Press the check out button
  3. Enter the shipping address Zip code
  4. Choose shipping options
  5. On the next webpage review your order with shipping charges and sales tax if applicable
  6. Click the "Cancel" button (before entering your credit card information)
  7. Remove item from cart
  8. Note: None of the information that you have put in will come to us until you have actually purchased the item. No payment information needs to be entered until after this process. So, it's easy and worry free!


How long should it take to receive my order?

    We generally will ship within one business day of receiving your order.
  1. East of the Mississippi River typically takes 1-5 business days to arrive to you
  2. West of the Mississippi River typically takes 4-8 business days to arrive to you
  3. Orders shipped 2nd day UPS air can take up to 4 days. Saturdays and Sundays and holidays do not count in the two days as well.
  4. During and before holidays - shipping by standard UPS shipping times can take up to 2 additional days
  5. Manufacturer direct orders may require additional time for processing and assembly
  6. Note: We offer 2nd day air, and we usually ship on the next business day after the order is received. UPS will deliver at the end of the 2nd. day for a total of three working days (Saturdays and Sundays and holidays do not count). Orders shipped on Thursdays and Fridays will take a minimum of four working days to receive.


How can I track my order progress with UPS.?

    Our cart will send to you, automatically, the UPS tracking number by e-mail as soon as UPS picks up the merchandise.


I need the order tomorrow. Why don't you offer next day air?

    We offered next day air during the first year that we opened our Internet Store. We found that our customer satisfaction rate with next day air was not as good as we would like, and we, therefore, decided not to offer it .
  • Some of the problems were due to UPS failing to deliver on time, some of it was due to customers placing orders after our cut-off time (and still expecting to have it the next day), and some of it was due to stressed customers who needed the product "yesterday" .
  • We offer 2nd day air, but please understand that we will ship on the next business day after the order is received and that UPS many times deliver second day air in three working days. Saturdays and Sundays and holidays do not count in the two days as well. If your order is an emergency, we respectfully suggest that you place an order locally.


Can I place an Internet order from outside the continental United States?

  • No you can not. The following types of orders require special handling and cannot be processed through our Internet Store at this time:
  • International sales and orders from outside the continental United States including American Somoa, Canal Zone, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.


Why was the factory carton opened and re-sealed?

    All cartons are opened prior to shipment and the merchandise is visually inspected and re-packed as required to protect them from damage in transit.


I'd like to give special instructions for the UPS driver, such as to leave it on the porch without a signature. Can I do that?

    Unfortunately it is not possible for us to give special instructions for the UPS driver. For our protection against fraud we cannot insist to UPS that they leave your product without your signature. They might do so but we cannot specify specific instructions to UPS.


I prefer to use my own shipper number (I have an account with UPS or Fed Ex) can you not charge me for shipping?

  • Sorry, but we cannot use your own shipper number.
  • We simply do too much business daily to be able to have exceptions to our way of shipping.
  • We certainly can understand that you want to use your own shipper account, but in order for us to keep our prices down for everyone; we can only operate shipping one way and that is shipping all of our packages the same way with our selected shippers.


What does it mean that the shipping amount on my order reads $0.00?

    If the shipping amount reads $0.00 it simply means that your order has exceeded the standard 150 lb. shipping limit, and that we will be contacting you with your additional shipping charges before processing your order.


Why did it take 4 days to receive an order that was shipped UPS 2nd Day Air?

  • UPS 2nd Day Air® guarantees delivery to all 50 states by the end of the second business day (not including Saturday , Sundays or Holidays)
  • Orders shipped on Thursdays would be received 4 days later by the end of Monday and orders shipped on Friday would be received 4 days later by the end Tuesday.


If I order to ship 2nd Day Air will I receive my order in 2 Days?

  • Not necessarily........UPS 2nd Day Air® guarantees delivery to all 50 states by the end of the second business day (not including Saturday, Sundays or Holidays)
  • When we ship the next business day after we receive the order, the minimum time would be 3 days.


Do you provide Saturday Service shipping option?

  • No we do not……. We offered Saturday Service during the first year that we opened our Internet Store. We found that our customer satisfaction rate with Saturday Service was not as good as we would like, and we, therefore, decided not to offer it.
  • Some of the problems were due to the carrier failing to deliver on time, some of it was due to customers placing orders after our cut-off time (and still expecting to have on Saturday), and some of it was due to stressed customers who needed the product "yesterday" .
  • We offer 2nd day air, and we will ship on the next business day after the order is received FedEx will deliver at the end of the second day so it takes a minimum of three working days to receive your order. (Saturdays and Sundays and holidays do not count).
  • If your order is an emergency, we respectfully suggest that you order the item locally.


Why is the freight charge that you show different from the rate I get at UPS website?

  • UPS & FedEx shipping rates quoted in their respective websites are only estimates and may be different than the actual charges for a particular shipment.
  • Differences may occur based on actual weight, dimensions, surcharges, fuel charges, and other factors. Rates may also vary at retail locations.
  • The total shipping shown on your order includes freight, packing and handling costs.
