Sta-Rite pioneered the use of thermoplastics pool pumps in the 1960s The Dura-Glas pumps move large volumes of water with comparatively small amounts of electricity. The thermoplastic housing withstands the elements and temperature extremes. No longer in production. Replaced by Starite SuperMax.
